File Sharing - How can I get to the folder?

Ok, I just installed a new wireless router. I have a wired connection to the router for one pc and use a PCI wireless adapter for another.

Both can access the internet perfectly and both have simple file sharing turned off. On the pc with the wired connection, I have right clicked on a folder and shared it.

Now, on the other pc, how do I navigate to that folder?

And one more question, if I have a TV-tuner card on one pc, can I stream the video wirelessly to my other pc?

Thanks in advance. AT rocks.

Are your running XP, or 9x something?

If XP it is easiest to setup an account on the machine with the shared folder with the same username that is used on the other machine.

In explorer, click Tools > Map Network Drive > Browse and it should show up.

NO you will probably not be able to stream video from the machine from the PC with the tuner card.

I see the name of the computer, but when I click on it, all I see is a Scheduled Task folder and a Printer and Faxes Icon. Not the folder that I am sharing.

I'm using Windows XP Pro

Correct, you will need the proper client software. Windows has no native application that will attach to your capture software. Your application will need to have it's own client. Sage is a good one. Nice interface. Good image quality etc..

If you don't see a shared resource when your browse to the remote PC you probably didn't share it correctly. Do you have the little hand holding the folder on the machine you've shared the resource on?
