File Sharing does not work?

I have three computers set up through a SMC 2404 Wireless router. They are as follows:

P3 700@933 Runining Clean install of Windos XP Pro

Dell Dimension P4 2.53 Running Windows XP Home

Celeron 300a@450 Running Windows XP Home.

The 3rd computer is what I added and is the problem. This comptuer had a legitimate clean legal FULL install of XP Pro (not an upgrade) on it being used by someone else. I upgraded their comptuer and installed the XP Pro on their new Dell computer, so I needed to do something else on this one. I had the XP Home copy from the computer Dell I installed hte Full XP Pro on. I installed the XP home on the 300a computer above - reformatted it and let it install.

Now, the 300a can acces the printer that is hooked up to the Dell Dimension, and can access all shared files on the P3700 and can See the shared folder on the Dell Dimension, but cannot access it. Likewise, the Dell Dimension can access all files on the P3700 but can see and not access the Shared folder on the 300a.

I get a mesage telling me that I do not have rights to view/share and to contact the administrator. File sharing is set up. No password required. Why would this not work?

I am suspicious it has someting to do with the prior install of XP Pro -- when I first installed XP home on the 300a, after a reformat, it did not ask me for a CD key, but when I tried to activate it and it said wrong CD key so I input the CD key off the package for the XP Home Dell Diskand it worked fine -- activated OK. I had to do a repair of the install later (ASUS P2B-F MB shut down fix) and it again required reactivcation and did the same thing so the old XP Pro CD Key must be there somewhere in the Bios maybe -- I have no clue how that works.

The Dell XP Home is not from MY Dell it is from the one I installed the XP Pro on in case that was confusing.

Why would I be able to see files on the P3 700 back and forth but not betweeen the Dell and the 300a (but the 300a can use the printer on the Dell).
