File Server Mobo advice

I want to build a file server. I want to store Photoshop, mpeg files mostly. Any recommendations on a good mobo with pci express that will work well in this application.
 
Why do you want pci-E - I don't think at the moment that there is anything to gain by it, and especially not for 2D apps [ie movies/photos]?
 
you may encounter chipset driver probs if that RAID contains the os.

There is a way around it, search anandtech - involves deleting certain parts of the registry
