File recovery software

Hi
I deleted clonezilla image on an external usb drive a few weeks ago and would now like to get that file back.
The pc is running win 2000 and is not connected to the internet any suggestions for a simple program to recover the file. I do have another pc win7 on the net.

Well, assuming you didn't write to that drive since you deleted the image, you could use testdisk.

However, I would clone over the drive to another drive and work on the cloned copy.

If you kept writing to the drive, then, most likely the image has been corrupted.
