File Recovery Freeware: NTFS & FAT

Just an fyi for some of you who don't follow these listings as much as I do. I've not yet required to try these, but a 6 duck rating has always been worth a try to me, and if you're like me this is the type of freeware you want to have on hand before you need it

Not bad. Sounds like it actually identifies the "magic number" or header of the file and tells you the type it detects since the partition table is gone. Pretty neat for free software.

my entire FAT got corrupted for some reason.....

EDIT: mmm... did not work for me. did not recover any single file in usable form...

No worky for me...a bad clone FUBAR'd my partitions. Windows recognizes the drive, and even has it mounted in My Computer, but won't open it. PC Inspector File Recovery hits an error when trying to scan, and this one won't even recognize the drive
