I hope you don't mind me asking this here but frankly, I couldn't think of a better place to find the answer.

I run a PC using Windows XP Pro. I have found that over time I have a TON of files in the following folder..

C:\Documents and Settings\G\Local Settings\Temp

Can I delete every folder and file in that \Temp directory?

Next question is a bit tricky, but if anyone can answer it, you guys can.

I was trying to execute a driver for a new piece of hardware I purchased, but my PC was having a hard time reading the crappy floppy the driver was on. I put the floppy on another computer I have that could read it, copied the driver to my hard drive, and then emailed to myself.

I went back to my computer I first tried to install the driver on, collected the email with the setup.exe driver attachment, and tried to run it. The install shield came up and I keep getting the following message...

"Please insert Disk 1 with files ... disk 1 on C:\DOCUME~1\G~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft1C.tmp\Disk1 "

Something like that...

I suspect this is happening because I tried to install the driver from my email attachment and don't know how to undo whatever it is I did.

The setup.exe file with the driver is all contained on the setup.exe folder on the floppy. Even now when I got my first computer to finally read the original disc, I still get the message above. The disc is on my A: drive.

Anyone? Please

Thank you.
