Is there a way to fix this problem? Some of my file names are colored blue for some reason. I'm not exactly what caused this problem, but I know it happened around the time I had installed Registry Mechanic. But then I unstalled it and the file names stayed that way. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It means those files have been compressed or encrypted by XP. There is a way to not have it colored.. hang on Ill see

OK, open an explorer window, goto Tools -> Folder Options -> View, scroll down till you see "show encrypted or compressed NTFS files nn color" it should be checked, just uncheck it.

I leave mine on, its handy to see whats going on.

Oh, alright. Thanks. It worked. I knew it had to be in the folder options meu. I just didn't know it was because I compressed to files. When you're a person like me that has OCD, those two different colors tend to mess with you.
