😕

After fixing some problems, I have accumulated a bunch of directories and files from what I assume is the chk disk application:

directories: found.000, found.001, found.002, ...and so on
folders inside them: dir0000.chk, dir0001.chk, ...and so on

The contents of the folders seems to all be change log files and restore points. I turned off RESTORE temporarily to delete all the useable restore points, and then I turned it back on. Am I right in assuming that these old RP's are no longer needed? These files are all 2-5 months old. I haven't had any problems with my computer for the last 2 months, can I safely delete these files or are they still being used by the system.

The're in the root directory of the hard drive.

C:\found.000\dir0000.chk\change.log
C:\found.001\dir0001.chk\change.log2
C:\found.002\dir0002.chk\rp6...thru...rp37

and so on. Any help appreciated.
