if any of you had any weight to your words at all, you'd join the EFF and let them fight the RIAA in a much more orderly manner than you all.

Musicians make hardly any money from cd's. Their money comes from tours and merchandise sales.

I bought two cds and this was a few months ago. I bought Avril Lavine's cd and Gangstarr's greatest hits cd. Just for my gf and myself. I will not buy another CD until this blows over, in fact, I don't think I wanna buy another cd for the rest of my life because of this. I'm scarred for life.

yup, symphonys plays etc here too, but never a live singing performance.

and you can't just steal someones work telling em to work for money the way you'd prefer. thats stupid. its like saying i'll steal your book, you should make money from public book readings and your autograph😛
