For some reason, i'm not surprised it happened on spirit airlines.....

http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/10/travel/spirit-airlines-boom-box-brawl-feat/index.html

A disagreement got physical on Spirit Airlines on Wednesday, when two women started playing loud music on their portable speaker after landing.

Spirit Flight 141 from Baltimore had just landed at Los Angeles International Airport and was taxiing to the gate when the incident began.

"Two customers, who appeared to be intoxicated, were playing loud music on (a) portable speaker," Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry wrote in an email.

"Several other customers asked them if they could turn down their music," he said. "The first two ladies refused to do so and stated 'What are you going to do?'

"Then to provoke the other customers, they were holding their speaker in the air taunting the customers who had asked to have the music turned down. This prompted the second group of customers to approach the first group and a fight broke out."

Five women were involved in the brawl. Other passengers captured the scene on their smartphones.

Airport police and FBI agents responded when the aircraft reached its gate, but no charges were filed.

So I had one proposed the idea in one of these airline threads that passengers be sedated before a flight, and then revived shortly before the doors are opened after arriving at the gate. (Not right when you land. "The jetbridge isn't moving, so we'll have to wait here another 20 minutes.")

This might be the way to go.
Engines start, gas the passengers, enjoy the quiet skies.

You wouldn't need as much cabin pressure either. Everyone's unconscious already, so you could drop it down to make sure everyone's still alive. That means the cabin doesn't have to contain as much pressure, so you could shave off some metal from the cabin frame and save weight. No beverages or meals to cart around, minimal bathroom requirements, no need for windows which could further improve the stability of the cabin frame and permit further weight reduction......
The future of air travel is here.
