I read earlier that the Chinese team has been warned for several fights they have been involved in before this game...

from the msnbc article:

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/44191433/ns/sports-other_sports/

The melee was the latest instance of on-court fighting by China, whose players have been fined tens of thousands of dollars by the world and Asian federations for scrapping with opponents.

I am disappoint. No kung fu.

Who was the guy in the khaki shorts? Love how he is front and center and not even playing.

Hard to say who won. Looks like it was a draw to me.

Khaki shorts guy is obviously a ninja. That obviously involvs the kung fu edro wanted. Another ninja can obviously be seen on the right side of the picture.

Knowing China (and I don't them at all), they are probably giving their players some kind of performance enhancing drugs or hormones or something that's making them really violent.

Fuck Georgetown!

Go 'Cuse!
omg, i think i'm in love.

Georgetown always plays dirty pool. they have always been a touchy feely team when playing defense. They were that way under Thompson Sr., and they are now under Thompson, Jr. Poor China guys aren't used to that brand of "defense" as it teeters on being unsportsmanlike.

Apparently, they have ways of dealing with that.

I still stand by what I said about G'town, but after viewing video of the incident... in this case, it seems the other team is more to blame. It seems they did this to a Brazil BB team prior. Also, wtf did anyone agree to let G'town play them given the China team's history? The chances of a brawl breaking out in a basketball game between these two was predictable.

read about Chinese college basketball in a Reader's Digest article. Guy from US was playing for a college team since he was studying there. One of the games he was told not to guard one player and let him score at will since he was the son of a prominent politician. He also wasn't allowed to play the game vs the military academy since the ref took issue with the US's stand on Taiwan.

looks like the georgetown player swung first and then tried to run.

LMAO, overhead elbow, followed up with ground and pound by the chinese player at 20s. someone's been watching some UFC.

That's the way I saw it, but China did their best to make a brawl out of it by rushing the court and swarming the Georgetown players near the episode.

you don't think it's kinda funny that chinese people beating up americans is funny in lieu of how much money we owe them?

i guess it was a little high-brow for you.
