I heard on a Discovery channel that the Rhino's jaws have like tons of pressure per square inch so if the rhino could somehow lure the bear into it's massive jaws then the rhino would win.

Or maybe it's a Kung Fu bear, anyone see that beer commercial with the bear who fights? (Might be on adcritic.com)

do you care to elaborate on how a little bird would beat a polar bear and a rhino? i could see maybe one of the two but definitely not both.

Think about it, mind over matter, the bird could probably easily lure the bear and rhino into the belly of the ship which has no food or water or means of escape. Then the bear and rhino would starve from starvation after killing the other for food. But after a few months they'd both be dead.

All because of the little bird. So see your logic is flawed.

i dont believe that birds have the intelligence to come up with a plan to lure other animals places....i bet the bird's first instinct would be to fly away. that would not be considered defeating the bear or the rhino.

Rhinos are actually relatively fragile animals . . . I forget where I read it, but I guess they can have heart attacks and just keel over.

That's a tough one, but I would vote for the Polar Bear. Rhinos are extremely nearsighted, can't see much beyond their horn, but bears can see as well as people I believe. Plus I think the Polar Bear would be faster.

no but it might be smart enough to flee into the water when it realizes it's going to lose.

We're talking about a fight on a pirate ship, not who can outsee or outrun the other. In a fight it usually boils down to raw power which I think the rhino has over the bear.

this will be held as a battle to the death....as there is no way to determine when the animals submit.

rossman is right, there arent that many other things on a pirate ship that the rhino would think was a bear and attack.
