Fifth Gear Cancelled.

Fifth Gear was canceled today ? it will not be back according to The Daily Mail. While the show obviously wasn?t as entertaining to watch as Top Gear, it?s still a shame in my opinion.

Man, this sucks. I enjoyed Fifth Gear almost as much as Top Gear, and infinitely better than Top Gear Austrailia. This sucks to see them disappear with no notice. 🙁

I've been following the news over at finalgear too. The Daily Mail isn't exactly the most trusted news source in the UK from what I've read. I'll wait until a more reliable source shows up with the same info before calling it real. 🙂

That would be a shame, but honestly that show is only a hair more entertaining than Motorweek on PBS IMO (though I agree it's much better than the dreadful Top Gear Australia). The presenters, other than Tiff, are entirely annoying, and sometimes it really feels like they are trying to make the show as bland as possible. Hopefully they will retool and make something more interesting.

That does suck if true. It was an entertaining show. I though Tom and Johnny Smith gave decent reviews. Tiff always was giddy like a schoolboy 90% of the time; really made it seem like he was having a ball on the track.

They need to turn it into motorweek instead of what they got. I would like to watch a factual car show and then watch Top Gear to get opinions and destruction, haha.
