don't know who you ended up picking, but it isn't like ND isn't a rival of Michigan's. So not only are both teams rivals, you also have the fact that Michigan and ND are historically the top two winningest teams in college football. I would say with that leverage you might want OSU to win.

I'm an OSU fan and wanted Michigan to beat USC in that rosebowl 2 years ago. Now we have this bullsh!t about USC winning 3 championships in row. Tell me this, would Michigan have been "national" or even "co-national" champions had they beaten USC? I think not... It?s a travesty, and a sham and a mockery ? it?s a traveshamockery. Well I guess I was sort of glad out the outcome of that rosebowl as OSU ended up ranked higher than Michigan at the end of the bowls that year, however I don?t like how everyone nuts over USC and how unstoppable they were. They were rewarded a win against Notre Dame that they should not have won at all. I?m still upset about that, even though if ND would have won that game OSU wouldn?t have had the chance to play and beat them tonight, and ND very well may have ended up in the rosebowl this year for the championship...

Oh well, whatever. GO TEXAS!!!

Does it make a difference in payout to the university if their team wins or looses a bowl game?

I ask, because if it does, then you would want to vote for the conference of your team. When a team from your conference wins, they usually split up some portion of their winnings with the rest of the schools in their conference.

boggsie: Nope, I think the payouts are equal (and ND doesn't split with a conference either). That being said... any Michigan fan who routed against the Buckeyes are morons. You always want your conference to look good. I love the Buckeyes and I still think UM got screwed in their bowl game by the refs.

Go Buckeyes!

The defense has been average all season. ND doesn't have a consistent pass rush, and to compound things, has average speed at CB. If you look at commitments to ND, most are on the offensive side of the ball and I think only 2 were CBs. So apparently Weiss is recruiting for his offense but not neccessarily beefing up the D. I hope ND has some quality underclass defensive guys that will get their shot next season.
