Stability is the most important key for a motherboard to become useful and successful, because what good is a PC if a component is crashing all the time? Well, when the FIC K8-800T was the next motherboard in line to get a round of MBR torture, the board just laughed and laughed. We applied our royal smackdown, yet the FIC K8-800T refused to give in and stood its' ground the entire time

All FIC mobo's I've bought haven't worked. Just plain haven't posted. 3x FIC AU13's and no post on all of them. I went back to Fry's and got the NF7-S 2.0 and machine booted and has been stable as hell since. :)

3DMark2001 SE is first off on today's list of multimedia application benchmarks, and the FIC K8-800T once again shows us that it is the slowest Athlon 64 motherboard out of the three. Most of the performance loss is because of the fact that games thrive from system memory, and since the FIC must run with slower timings, the K8-800T takes a performance hit. So much, in fact that the Abit solution tends to beat it by 200 points in each test.
That translates into %1.5

That's within the test's margin of error=BFD. Now, I agree that for people that already spent the money for XMS or the like that being able to run it to it's full potential is to be expected, but he makes it out like there's some horrid penalty for the loose timings when the scores did not reflect more than a few percentage points variance.

Didn't plug in the extra 4 pin square molex connector, did ya? Board won't boot without it.
