? FIC CW33 mobo, cpu support

I got in on the etrade free pc deal a while back (www.myfavoritepc.com was the unit). The mobo is a FIC cw33 810 mATX.

Naturally, I am curious as to what CPU will run on this puppy. There is a 66/100/133 fsb jumper on the board, but no voltage tweaks so I am hesitant to pick up a Celeron2 and shoot for the 850 at default.

Any fellow crackheads play with this board?

All in the interest of keyrate...

i didn't think that 810s supported 133 mhz fsb. no go on FIC's website?

merlocka, If you have a Celeron that will overclock without Voltage tweaks, it may work, but see below.
The manual says:

<< The 1stMainboard CW33 is a microATX sized Socket 370 Mainboard supporting the Intel® Celeron? PPGA 300A-500 MHz processor. >>


and

<< Flexible Processor Support
Onboard Socket 370 supports leading-edge processors:
Celeron? PPGA processors 333/366/400/433/466/500 MHz and up. >>



It will either autodetect the FSB or allow you to force 100 or 133 FSB.


There may be voltage tweaks in the BIOS!
The BIOS Setup page shows a Frequency/Voltage entry.

I'll have to recheck the BIOS, thx for all the help.

I am pretty sure there was nothing for Vcore (there is a new bios available though, will have to check it)

A No, it does not support the Socket370 Pentium III CPUs.


I recall reading that other 810 boards say the same thing because Intel won't let them say they support CuMine. I know there are alot of people running FCPGA's on 810 boards though...

fc-pga introduced a new VRM header, 8.4, for the GTL bus. so the socket, though it looks the same, is a bit different. you can always buy a processor, see if it works, and if not, return it.
