I was going to place my order today for my first home build, I was ordering the NF7-S, XP 2500+ "Barton, two 256 crucial pc3200 sticks and was going to purchase the case and supply locally.
Well I went to a local computer store to look at cases and they have a sale on Thermaltake xaser3 http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase/xaser3/v2000a.htm
with Thermaltake 420w PS, and choice of AMD or P4 boards.
The P4 board is the FIC VL13PE, I cant find this board on the FIC website but I found the VL13 but it says it's 400/533MHz FSB on the web site, but the box says 800MHz FSB with the VL13PE, any info on this board anywhere?.
The AMD barebone kit has the FIC AU13 board.
The cost is 299.00
Are either of these boards any good? I can go either way depending on recommendations here, If I go with the AMD I would probably stay with the XP 2500 Barton and I think it will need the pc3200 sticks as I was going to get anyway. If I go with the P4 it would be the 2.6 800MHz FSB, and I guess the same memory.
Thanks for the input, I really need to get something together.

FIC makes the best boards, and I put one in most systems I sell. The AU13 is an excellent yet cost effective nForce2 board, for example, and I'm using it in my main machine right now.
