FIC AZ11 overheats?

i play cs and it freezes in about 2-10 minutes. i think that its my mobo becasue i have almost the same parts as my bros except the mobo.

im wondering what can i do to stop making it freeze?

btw if it matters i only have a generic hsf fan on it and no case fans, is that a likely cause?

Very much possible. Pull the lid off and blow like a home fan in there and see if that helps a bit. If so, then you deffinitely could be overheating.

You need to get a program or look in the bios to see what the system temperature is...This is using the temperature on the chipset...You should be lloking for 30c or below...

If higher then this may be a sign of case cooling needs...I think it would have to be 36-40c to have any real heat issues...

You could always lap on an old 486 hs and 40mm fan on it if needed as well...seen that many time...

However even most newer kt266a, sis735, etc boards only use passive cooling...I think chipset heat usually comes in more play when there is extreme fsb ocing going on....
