If you're in the market for a nForce2 motherboard the FIC AU13 is definitely for you. With a retail price of $135 CDN ($90 US) the AU13 has more features and is less expensive the even the FIC AU11! The FIC AU13 didn't prove to be much of an overclockers motherboard, so if that's your game perhaps you'd be best to look elsewhere.

I recently returned an AU13 to MWave after having major instability issues with it at higher FSB! The issues I had were due to voltage fluctuation between BIOS settings and actual results, which caused mostly "undervolt" problems with the settings I was trying to use.

BTW...the board I had did not have serial ATA as I received it.

Yes, those heatsinks...... They not only aren't flat, they're BOWED! It took hours of lapping to get them anywhere near flat.

My SLK-800a HS fit on this board with room to spare, so I don't know what they are talking about in this review when they start discussing "bending caps"!

This would be a good board for someone looking to run at stock speeds. It's well made and has a lot of features for the money.I felt FIC could have done a better job with the manual as far as explaining options and defaults.

I've had this mobo for about 2 weeks. It runs great at stock speeds, but I've been reluctant to overclock it, although I've been dying to try to OC the t-bred B core 1800

How hig did you get the FSB, and what sort of stability problems did you have?

Can you RMA a mobo after you lap the heatsinks?
