I am going to building a new computer soon and was wondering if the FIC AD11 was a good board or not? I figure if I stay with a AMD 760/761 chipset I'll be ok for a DDR solution.
I have a little review of my own.
FIC doesn't seems to bring any attention to many people, but I have been running it non stop for almost a weeks now. NOT a single crash, nor need to restart.
I have had the FIC-AD11 for 2 weeks now and have no problems. My only complaint is that their are no extra case fan wire terminals. I had to buy an adapter for both case fans to hook directly to the power supply instead of the motherboard.
I tried the EPOX-8K7A first but had too many problems like the AMD driver installation kept looking for an executable file that win98 first edition does not have. I could have copied the file off any win98 2nd edition machine but I did not have access to one. One other weird thing was that items in the sys tray would not load after I double clicked them in the lower right corner of my desktop.
Anyway,if the system I just built is any indication I don't think you can go wrong with the FIC-AD11.
