Fibre channel.. What's the most cost effective way to add to a desktop...

Okay.. you can buy Fibre channel 15krpm 73gb drives for DIRT CHEAP.. Why? Because the people that originally buy Fibre channel are the ones that can afford brand new fibre channel..

I wanna buy a couple used drives and throw them in my desktop..

What do I need to do?

I'm thinking.. buy a scsi controller card.. buy some 68pin to FC adapters..

What am I not thinking of?

Really.. I like to do stuff like this because my profession puts me in a lot of situations where I am asked 'can this be done?' after other people have said no..

I'm sure it can be done, I just don't know why you'd do it.

Those other people probably said no because they know it's easier to flat out say no than it is to try and explain why it's a really bad idea.
