FIA GTR Install Problems

I am so pissed off right now. I'm trying to install this game and every time it gets to:

C:\GTR\GameData\Locations\Anderstorp\Comments\Corner1.mp3

I get an error: An error occured while trying to read the source file: Incorrect Function.

I went to their support site and the login is in German only (even when you select English as the language). The FAQ's are useless.

So I pay for a game that will not work and effectively has no support. Bastards.

This game uses starforce. I disabled Daemon tools just in case that would upset it.:disgust:

Anyone know how to get around this error?
