FFX or Xenosaga

I own both of these games but I never got into either of them. I haven't played my PS2 in almost a year, and now I am wanting to get back into it. Which one of these should I give another shot? Please give reasons without spoiling anything that happens in either of these games. Thanks!

xenosaga is shorter..it took me 20-30 hrs to beat. i finished FFX in like 50hrs.

i would play ffx first, and finish xenosaga later

For the whole 15 out of 40 hours you get to actually play... no it's not. There are 1000 stats to work on, level building is slow and boring, and the plot is about as thick as paper.

Hehe thanks for the replies, seems to be pretty even so far.

I think the reason I got interesting my PS2 again is that I bought the new Jampack and played Front Mission 4 demo on it. I put well over 120 hours into Front Mission 3 and I hope that FM4 lives up to it. Anyone else physched up for FM4?
