FF XI Messing Up My Wireless Connection?

After I installed and updated FF XI, and restarted my comp, every sign of my wireless connection was just totally terminated. The icon in the tray was gone, and it was also not present in the control panel under "network connections". The weird thing was, that I still was able to connect to the internet, even though there was no sign of the Wireless connection avaliable. I am using a Linksys ver. 4 wireless router, and a Linksys USB ver. 2.8 Instant Wireless Adapter. Any clues, or should I tweak some settings in FF XI? Thanks.
