Ever find that the teal background of the textarea boxes (like the one I'm typing in) makes it difficult to see the cursor ? In IE, the background is white... in FF, it's a light teal. I can't see where my cursor is if I'm trying to point to a specific place in my text while editing...

I don't mean the blinking prompt while typing... I mean the cursor when you move your mouse...

what color is the "I" cursor ? Light gray ? It comes out nicely against a white background, but the teal makes it practically disappear unless you move it amongst text.

solid black

do you have some weird theme that modifies the cursor?

maybe you can try changing it at control panel->mouse->pointer

Ok, I see what you mean now. Yes, you're blind. The Quick Reply box is white until you click on it, then it turns light aqua. The double ended T cursor turns into a bold black bar. Perfectly clear on my FF.

I'm using Windows Default (system scheme). It's a light gray "I" for me.

Oh well... I just changed it to the "Mouse" scheme... pretty cool... don't think they had this before XP. Check it. :D

in the mouse control panel there's a drop-down for schemes. I simply chose "Mouse". There's a little rat standing with the "I" for my new "I" cursor. My common mouse pointer is now shaped like a diagonal "8" that looks like a rat.

Don't tell me this is special to Intellimouse Explorer...
