FF Trades - Opinions

I made two trades - I made the first because I felt it was a great deal and I made the second because I felt I needed a better WR and had enough RBs to be able to deal.

Trade 1 (The guy who made this trade won the league last year, but he makes rash moves at times and he was sick and tired of Dez Bryant - he really wanted an upgrade at WR):
I gave:
AJ Green

I dropped:
James Starks
Jermaine Gresham

I got:
Jimmy Graham
Matt Forte
Dez Bryant

Trade 2 (This guy is a bit of a homer and loves the Cowboys so he will over pay to get someone from his team - now I don't think he overpaid - if anything I did - but I haven't started MJD all year and I believe between Richardson/Turner/Forte/Mendenhall/Spiller I will be able to get 2-3 starters every week):
I gave:
Dez Bryant
Maurice Jones Drew

I got:
Julio Jones
Rashard Mendenhall

My final team is now:

QBs
Freeman, Josh TBB QB
Griffin III, Robert WAS QB (R)
Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB

RBs
Forte, Matt CHI RB (Q)
Greene, Shonn NYJ RB
Mendenhall, Rashard PIT RB (O)
Richardson, Trent CLE RB (R) (P)
Spiller, C.J. BUF RB (D)
Turner, Michael ATL RB

WRs
Johnson, Calvin DET WR (P)
Jones, Julio ATL WR (P)
Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR

TEs
Daniels, Owen HOU TE
Graham, Jimmy NOS TE

PKs
Hanson, Jason DET PK
Henery, Alex PHI PK

DLs
Avril, Cliff DET DE
Watt, J.J. HOU DE

LBs
Bowman, Navorro SFO LB
Lofton, Curtis NOS LB

S/CBs
Berry, Eric KCC S
Byrd, Jairus BUF S (P)

Scoring is very non-standard, but the same general rules apply - touchdowns are great and yardage is OK. MJD was the leading rusher in the league last year, but wasn't top 5 in the RBs because he scored so few TDs. We start 1QB, 1-4 RBs, 2-4 WRs (5 total RBs and WRs), 1TE, 1PK, 1DL, 1LB, 1S/DB.

Thoughts?

I'm guessing it's not a ppr since you are so rb heavy. I think the first trade was good. I'm not a fan of the second trade. Can you drop a kicker and pick up another wr?

No - it is not a PPR league.

I have looked for WRs, but the WW is very sparse. There are 10 teams and each one has an average of 5 WRs so we are talking about the ~50th best WR in the league right now.

I would be more likely to drop Freeman than a K since I would need to pick one up on Detroit's bye week and all FA/WW pickups cost money.

Even with MJD, when Forte gets back to health, I figured my starters would be 3 of:

MJD
Forte
Richardson
Turner
(Spiller if he comes back healthy and becomes the feature back)

So giving up MJD and getting Jones is a bit of a wash to me except that Atlanta looks like they will be a powerhouse this year and Jacksonville doesn't. RBs get a lot of points in garbage time when they are trying to burn time. Atlanta will be in that position a lot more than Jacksonville so Turner has that upside that MJD doesn't. My risk is that I need to play Bowe until Forte comes back. With that said Bowe is looking like a very good play right now and might even start over MJD and Forte all other things equal.
