Ok
She sure is bare.
Forgot what ads were like.
Will take a while since the problem is infrequent.

Didn't you say you use AD Block ? There's your culprit, I be guessing. Maybe gettin so's it disappears all graphics, not just ads ? Nasty.

But just on the AT forum ??

You can use ketchup's approach and add things back one at a time, or try disabling just Ad Block. Maybe the latter first and go to the other if the problem persists.

I disabled just Ad Block Plus but the error reappeared . Ad block is not the enemy. I only use a few plugins but will try Ketchup's idea.
I set up another Profile in FF engaging only the included plugins and appearance apps and Ad Block. So far so good. If this is stable I can add back the few others.

At least your internet works after CU. Consider yourself lucky. It doesnt happen on other browsers?

I was really getting tired of the more and more Ads AbBlock Plus didn't Block. I switched to uBlock and it reminds of of when I first started using ad blockers.

Not in IE 11 and only when logged in to this website ." No web" usually occurs as I scroll up but last time it disappeared all on its own.

Its learning ?

Ok
So I'm not wacko ?
Notice that the page is still there, you can move the mouse and watch it go from a normal pointer to one indicating a link, or bookmark to another (blank) page, etc. Only the graphics are gone, Like we entered another dimension, without light, beyond the twilight zone.

It's come down to hardware acceleration, though I had tried that on and off before, but now it clearly shows , with no HA, no black screens. I have the latest video drivers and latest FF. CU started this but I cannot end it.
So how can I approach this ? HA is useful and I/m wondering whether there is a chip on the card which is bad ? Maybe replace the card ? If I have the latest drivers, what else can cause HA to black out FF ?

Been having this sporadic issue myself and it all started after a clean install on june 6th. Hopefully FF 54.0.1 corrects things because i'm out of things to try.
