Fewer resolution options after driver update

I just updated to the latest drivers from amd for my X1950XT but now I can't seem to get my preferred resolution on my Sony FW900 of 1280x800 @ 85htz. I can't find 1280x800 at all in CCC any more. If I right click the desktop and go into properties I can find the right resolution, but only at 60htz. As that refresh rate hurts my eyes, is there something I can do to get the right video mode back? Or do I need to clutter my system with yet another program to compensate for the problems introduced by another?
 
Try the "Force" button in the desktop properties. 1280x800 shows up on mine. I'm not too fond of the new CCC, everything is kinda hidden.
