Hello I have a few questions:

1) Where to download the official thermal analysis tool?

2) I hear in order to OC the e6600, one has to up the vdimm voltage, where can I monitor the actual voltage in windows? (I've tried speedfan, easytune5 etc etc, no mention of vdimm voltage)

3) Assuming 2 is answered, what level of vdimm voltage is then acceptable?

4) Under 2xprime, what temp of the two cores should I not exceed?

Thanks!

Vdimm is for DIMMs. As in Dual In-Line Memory Modules. Key word there: Memory.

Increasing Memory voltage won't do jack for your CPU overclocking capability (unless you are less than competent at managing your memory ratio).

1: A google search would have you the answer by now. Use CoreTemp.

2: You adjust voltages in the BIOS.

3: Your CPU voltage is the setting you want to increase, and I have no idea what it is called on your motherboard. Like you, I am also too lazy to do a google search and find out.

4: I would shoot for sub-50C temps ideally. Sub 60C is safe. Don't worry about both cores. Only worry about the hottest one.

1) You misunderstood me TAT is the name of the actual tool. Some people have mentioned it but I cannot find it through google/intel official website.

2) I know where to adjust vdimm voltages (in bios), but I need a way to monitor it while in windows because I read that the actual voltage output could be different.
