I am looking for a cooler suggestion for the upcoming E8500 Wolfsdale CPU's coming out and had a few questions.

What I was planning on going for was a E8400 or E8500 and overclocking it to 3.6-3.8ghz.

1. Will regular S775 coolers work on the new .45nm chips? I am guessing yes...

2. Would anybody be able to make a good recomendation for a decent Fan?
I was considering something like the Zalman CNPS8700NT.

Thanks!

Tuniq Tower for higher end and Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 for lower budget. I reccomend getting a backing plate if using the freezer 7, $7 insurance policy.

Go with a tower-type cooler (Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, Tuniq Tower, Freezer 7 Pro... that type) unless you have space restrictions. Socket 775 coolers should work on all socket 775 processors, and probably even future processors with some kind of adapter.

Is this Mithan from VN?
