Few questions about WinXP Home Upgrade and my current computer

Ok, I know WindowsXP won't fully support my Aureal SQ2500 soundcard butt will it support a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live Gamer 5.1? I hate to have to go to another Sound Blaster card but I guess I have no choice.

Oh and in the past I have had problems with my mobo chipset and sound blaster cards. Will I have any compatibility issues with:

Asus A7V266-C Mobo, AthlonXP 2100+, 512 (256x2) Crucial Ram, MSI GeForce4 Ti4400 Videocard, and Intel Pro/100+ PCI Networking card?

One last thing, should I do a clean install or just install the upgrade over WinMe? I purchased WinXP Home Upgrade.

1) yes it is compatible with the Soundblaster Live...Personally I would go with an audigy tho

2) All your hardware looks compatible

3)definately do a clean install formatting the C partition where ME resides
