How many frames per second do you need to simulate normal television or dvd?

What resolution is normal picture tube televisions set at?

Has anyone had any luck with the all in wonder 7500 for caaptureing good quality video?

has anyone tried the FlyVideo 3000 it seems to fit my needs perfectly.... anyplaces you suggest to buy it cant find many

What I plan on doing is capturing video from a rca source (dvd player with macrovision disabled) and burn onto cd for viewing on vcd/dvd player. Im looking for a cheap way of doing this that gives good quality. Anybody has any ideas on what works well?

Thanks

If thats what you are doing, forget it. Ripping a DVD and re-encoding will give you far better results than you could ever get with analog capture. I use my AIW 7500 quite a bit for capture, and it works very well, but I would never even consider capturing from a DVD player.
