CLIFF'S NOTES BELOW.
Today I went to T-Mobile, Sprint, and Cingular stores. T-mobile appeared to have the best plan (unless they're hiding something) and best service (at least in the store itself). I'm not sure what their coverage is like around Atlanta, if anybody could fill me in that would be great (good or bad experiences).
T-Mobile was also offering a Sony Ericcson T610 phone for $30 if I sign up for a 1 year contract with any of their plans. They didn't have other Sony E phones, but looking at this phone online it seems pretty good, I believe I've also heard members say that you can upload MIDI files to use as ringtones as well as games, pics, etc from your PC (free obviously) with a USB cord. Also appears to support Bluetooth, even though I don't own an access point the wireless headset might be cool. Loads of features for $30...
I also made a thread some time ago about developing small cell phone games and someone said Sony Ericsson phones are good for this with their PC connectivity and support for J2ME and Mophun games.
Can anybody vouch for how easy it is to upload games/midi ringtones on a T610 or similar phone?
CLIFF'S NOTES:
-looked at phones, leaning toward Sony Ericsson T610 $30 with 1year T-Mobile plan
-want to know about how good coverage is in Atlanta/Norcross area
-want to know how well uploading games, pics, MIDI ringtones, contacts, etc from PC works with T610
Thanks in advance if anybody can help me out!
