Fever of 100.6... what should i do?

so all day yesterday i never had a fever, i was feeling like shit however, headache alllllll day, ibuprofen took care of it for about 2 hours, but i still have the headache... I have been drifting in and out of sleep but unable to stay asleep due to my body going from hot to cold, etc...

now, the scary part is the fact that there are 2 people i know, who have H1N1, but i did not hang out with the one (my roomie drove her to the hospital) and the other was at our house but i did not hang out with him...

ATOT, should i wait until the moning and check my temp then, or should i just go now? My body temp has been... 98.5 97.7 and now 100.6...

It's obviously not that bad as you're asking ATOT for advice. Wait until the morning. You'll know when you have to go to the hospital.

Rest, liquids, keep an eye on the temp. If it stays low grade with out meds, let it be. Your body is fighting, let it fight. Break 103=time for meds.

Take some tylenol and see how it goes for a few more hours. 100.6 really isn't much to worry about at one measurement. We (what I learned from the IDSA) generally don't consider it a fever until you've got a single oral reading in excess of 101F, or an oral of 100.4F for an hour or greater consistently. If you hit something at 102 or higher, or have a solid fever sustained over 100.4, then sure, hit up the ER.

its still at 100.6, was at the temp all night, every time i woke up i would take it and it never varied from 100.6
