I did my first good lawn cleaning of the year, and my neightbor pointed out that my grass was much greener than hers - dispite the fact that she waters it on a weekly basis. I don't water mine, the rain is enough to sustain it.

I use Scott's Bonus S seasonally, and miracle grow once a month: Here's the difference. Keep in mind that my yard looked as ratty as her lawn earlier today, and that this is the only part of my grass that grows next to her grass, to illustrate the difference. This is not my whole yard ;)

Fertilizer is good :)

WEll - only part of it. It's the only part of my grass that grows next to her grass, to illustrate the difference. The rest of my lawn outside of the picture looks the same.

I recycle, it's more eco friendly. You really ought to use what you throw away to fertilize your lawn. Just think about all the stuff you throw away that would fertilize the grass. When I sat down and thought about it, I figured out that I have more dead bodies that any other kind of waste, so I use them to fertilize my lawn.
