The names rubbish...you don't call a car after ANY place! California is cool as a place but not cool as the name of a Ferrari car!

So you disagree with the 550 Maranello, 360 Modena, 599 Fiorano, 365 Daytona, and virtually every Ferrari from the 50s (America, Mexico, Europa, Superamerica, California and Monza)? Makes sense...

like the weight distribution thing...people like commenting on things they really have no clue about.

the V8 up front = bad balance was teh funney.

There were some awesome Ferraris with the 250 engine. That California Spyder was fantastic, one of the most beautiful cars ever IMO. Then they had the 250 GTO, and 250 Testa Rossa.

I wish Ferrari would go a bit retro and use the dimensions and styling cues from those cars again. I like the big grand touring style Ferraris like the 365 Daytona and 599, but I'd like for them to do a small car again.

It should also have some numbers in the name like the originals. I think it would be 538 if you went with the 4300cc/8cylinders formula. Where the original 250 was 250* 12 cylinders for 3000cc.

Why would you take something as nice as a Ferrari and associate with the most clueless and liberal (redundancy alert) state of the USA?

You mean the state with the biggest economy that the US could not function without?

Which is the most clueful/conservative state? Mississippi?? HHAHAHHAHA

Because California is the most beautiful state (except Hawaii) and has wonderful Mountain roads, coastal highways, and canyon roads similar to Europe, and your state doesn't.

Lots of Ferraris here.

I'm sure it looks much nicer in person. It looks decent from some angles, not so good from others. The side vent looks terrible, and I don't like how it tries to flow into the side crease. Also, did they outsource the rear end to TVR or something?

What TVR has a rear end that looks like the one on the Ferrari? 😕

As for the name, I believe California accounts for more sales of Ferrari than any other state or country in the world.

It's my least favorite Ferrari in recent years from a visual standpoint, but hard to argue with it from a GT-car perspective. Or... dare I say it... a commuter?
