Fermi Bios editor unlocks voltage limits

Whats up GTX400 guys. I don't have one myself, but I just came across this program a guy on XS is using to mod people's bioses. He's posting up the newest bioses with voltage limits completely unlocked up to like ~ 1.213v. (Something afterburner doesn't offer) 1ghz thermi anyone? 🙂

If you wanna use it, you have to flash your own bios - so heads up: know what you're doing, and know the risks involved. Anyway, if you're an extreme gpu overclocker it will come in handy.

Yeah he's at 960mhz in Heaven & Vantage. At 850 1.075v, he's pulling an extra 105 watts on the card!!!
~420 watt gtx480. Can't imagine 960mhz 1.21v. Probably spiking over 500 watts for the card alone.
Idle time I consume 212W, which are not optimized, as the CPU for example, always running at full voltage. With Optimized values above system takes about 180W to go with 45 - 50W on the calculations of the GTX 480.
GTX 480 @ default 0.950 v - 426 - 436W
GTX 480 @ default 0.963 v - 433 - 441W
GTX 480 @ default 0.975 v - 436 - 445W
GTX 480 @ default 0.988 v - 440 - 448W
GTX 480 @ default 1.000 v - 446 - 454W
GTX 480 @ default 1.013 v - 451 - 466W
Default GTX 480 @ 1.025 v - 458 - 468W
GTX 480 @ default 1.038 v - 466 - 473W
GTX 480 @ default 1.050 v - 473 - 482W
GTX 480 @ default 1.063 v - 479 - 488W
GTX 480 @ default 1.075 v - 488 - 498W
GTX 480 @ 1.075 v - 700/1400/1850MHz - 488 - 498W
GTX 480 @ 1.075 v - 750/1500/1900MHz - 497 - 506W
GTX 480 @ 1.075 v - 800/1600/1900MHz - 505 - 514W
GTX 480 @ 1.075 v - 850/1700/1900MHz - 510 - 520W

Vantage @ 1.200 v - 960/1920/1900Mhz - ???????????

And the 30% OC gave him a direct 30% boost in framerates in Crysis Warhead too. 34.4 -> 44.42

very impressive. it is no secret fermi scales well with clocks, but that is a great feat. he was using water cooling to get there, just as I thought.
