I love being ferengi. As some of you know, here was my day yesterday:
Went out. Got gas at wal mart. 3 cents off per gallon for using wal mart gift card. My ferengi car gets 30 MPG. Sweet. Paid $1.41 for regular unleaded.
Did a finanical survey. Paid me $40 for 30 minutes at the mall. Basically 80 questions that said: "Are you in control of your money?" Duh.
Got hungry. So I had dinner at staples. Free chicken. Mmm. Chicken.
Just got new cell phone. 300 anytime unlimted off peak for $30/month with free LD thru sprint (theyre good around here).
Managed to ferengi the rep into giving me free activation and phone was $50 AR. Well, I used a .05 SS copy and got the total to $150.04 and used a $30 off $150 coupon that expires tomorrow. Rep commented about not having a comfortable place in the store to process my app and get my phone activated. "Wanna head into the chair section? I'm game if you are!"
Got activation taken care of. Took about 10 minutes and the phone went instant on. I then got free can caddies, a CD case, pens galore, some sort of baloon dealie, couple cups and bottles of water and several mouse pads.
Plus, the Sprint PCS rep had a nice butt. So I got her number. (No pics of the butt. I didnt get Sprint PCS vision. But I think I have her yearbook photo around here somewhere...)
I field tested the phone's long distance capabilities by totally freaking out a girl I know to a point where she was screaming at me. In other words: the usual. I gave my phone a whirl and here's what I found out:
The angst comes in REALLY clearly! Its like I'm right there and I can feel the spit hitting my face! All Sprint PCS needs to do is recreate the stinging/burning sensation in my face that I usually get after offering to take her to the $1 theater and I'm all set!

Today my new dedicated dell rep called and made a sales pitch. I'm gonna see if I can bilk a nice new notebook from him.
And I got a call from staples about an hour ago. They had a drawing for gift cards and stuff while I was getting my new phone activated. About 7 prizes to be given out. When I left, there were 4 names in the hat. PAB Inc conveniently entered and won the $100 Gift card.
I also got a coupon for a free chicken sandwich!
