Recently, I note many people writing the word ferengi. I forget what sort of conext it's in, usually something to do with a hardware deal.
What the heck is 'to ferengi'?

I've not come across this Net word before...

Sorry folks, you really don't want to call someone you like a Ferengi because it's not a compliment. About a year and a half ago I labeled the sniveling little whiners in HD who complained about companies who refused to honor obvious typos Ferengi's. A Ferengi is beneath contempt , worse than a Stank Troll which is pretty bad.

Unfortunately, "Ferengi" is not an insult to a Ferengi. It is a badge of honor to these idiots who feel they are just smart dealers (the one who always threaten to sue if a misprint is not accepted).
