last night I was sitting at a stop light on my way to the bar. All of asudden me and my car lurch forward, not very hard a little more than the lurch you get if you accidently stall out your car( i drive standard i am a man!) so i gets out of the car and go look at my bumper nothing is wrong witht the exception of some rubbed off blue paint from the other car who was driven by a young girl. After seeing that my car was not damaged which is all i cared about I said my cars fine I am gonna go(i just wanted to get to the bar i didnt give an F about the dumb girl or her vehicle) and just bounced. is that allowed someone told me it was illegal?

I would say teenage girls. Yes I know that teenage boys get in accidents more but they also drive like total a-holes. When not driving like a clown with watermelon size balls I'm sure that a teenage boy would be less likely than a teenage girl to do something stupid like rear-end you.

Hence including all of the above would have been some sort of ironic paradoxical contradicting thingamajigger

Actually, she could go to the police right afterward and say that you backed up into her then took off and you would be 100% at fault and be charged for hit and run. Always get her to sign something saying that she did it just for liability sake and get her licence plates num and drivers licence number.

I've found that it doesn't matter who you are, you probably drive horribly. I've seen old people drive excellently, but also horribly. Same with men and women. I just find it hard to believe that men get charged more for insurance just because we are men. I think that's discrimination.

The only time I was involved in an accident was when I was 17, it was about 4 weeks after I got my liscense. Got rear-ended in my 84 accord. Didnt appear to be any damage, so we just shook hands, he said he was sorry, and we left it at that. When I got home I realized that he had knocked my bumper off the mount (or whatever it is) and I ended up having to tie it up with wire.

Moral of the story: Even if there doesnt appear to be damage, get their info so if something happens later on you have recourse.

I'd have to say older people, because they're the only ones that have no chance of LEARNING from thier mistakes. If they made it once, they'll likely do it again.

And as far as teenagers, guys are reckless, girls are careless.

Freakin wierd! Just yesterday I was on my way home from work, and was involved in an incident with a middle aged asain woman in a white Lexus. It was along a curvy road next to the river, around 5pm or so, and she comes veering over half way into my lane. (later I found out she was "looking for something on the floor") Anyhow, I was left with a choice between plunging into the Green River and a 70 mph head on collision, so I quickly reacted and was lucky enough that she only took out my rearview mirror. (showering me and my car interior with glass, my window was down) Luckily I still have my arm. I flipped a U and followed her and she pulled over, we exchanged info, and she admitted fault. Luckily neither she nor I were hurt, and the vehicle damage was minimal, but people like this should not be allowed on the road. Come on, looking for something on the floor around blind curves next to the river? Please... I should claim whiplash to my insurance, since she was driving a pretty spendy vehicle. ;) I was in my beat up pickup so no biggie. I've been rear ended and backed into in that truck before, never my fault mind you, and my insurance is still probably higher. Grrr.....

insurance companies know men get paid more for the same job so they know ewe can afford the increased cost.

I drive like a crazy person. I am all over the road when I drive and I always daydream so I end up blanking at for some times up to half an hour. I have ended up in the wrong city before because of that.

Perhaps you should invest in a bus pass or a bicycle. :)

I agree with Demon-Xanth. Teenage guys are reckless, but teenage girls are careless. Guys tend to cause more serious accidents, but girls and women usually cause more minor fender benders. The problem is that guys are overconfident and girls just dont pay attention.

Where's the "people who drive with a cell phone plastered to the side of their face" option?
