A department of feminist studies professor has been accused of going berserk after coming across a campus prolife demonstration that used extremely graphic displays, leading a small mob of students to chant “tear down the sign” before grabbing one of the signs, storming off with it, then allegedly engaging in an altercation with a 16-year-old prolife protestor who had followed the educator to retrieve it.

The professor at the heart of the controversy is Mireille Miller-Young, an associate professor whose area of emphasis is black cultural studies, pornography and sex work, according to her faculty webpage.

The protestors were not students there and people complained about them. These stupid protestors followed the professor and the students into the elevator where the professor told them they couldn't get on with them and the girls proceeded to try and push their way into the elevator, and were blocking the elevator door from closing with their feet. They were looking to be combative to begin with. If anything the protestors were disruptive on the campus where many did not want them there. Good for the professor and students for taking the graphic sign and taking off with it.

Speaking as one of those students who went to the most highly rated public school system, the UC system is the best public universities have to offer in the US (by the rankings, anyway). I also learned more and had to work harder in the CC classes I took (one of the best CCs in CA).

Lesson: It doesn't matter where you get your education. Save your money; stay out of the conceited ivory towers unless you plan to go to law school or become part of said institution.

Liberals have had to invent an awful lot of absurd, vacuous, useless fields of "study" and degrees since they started formulating ways to force the system to accept massive numbers of people who aren't qualified to be in college.

They commercialized education to such an extent that 'degrees' are churned out like a product in a factory line, devaluing them significantly and lowering the overall competitiveness of American college students in the world economy.
