Worst design ever. It is pointless to even put seats there.

They should've just put tables there so the people next to those seats can set stuff on them.

A brand new stadium has obstructed view seats?

Those are so absurdly stupid seats.

This is ridiculous.

well...it is Indiana. They should just be happy enough to get off the farm for an evening. :D

Should just put a camera on the opposite side of the pillars and a monitor connected to it to be a sort of gateway to see through the pillar. Sales for the seats should easily cover the cost of such a setup in just a few games.

They should put TVs on the posts. Even if you can't get a view of the real game, you can at least partake in the atmosphere. I bet someone will want to pay a couple of bucks to sit in those seats

To be honest, if there were a good TV or two there I'd probably sit there as long as they're absurdly cheap just to get the atmosphere of being there.

yeah same here. The atmosphere is what's most appealing about a live game anyways. Not to mention when yo'ure up in the nosebleeds, a TV image is probably better

I can handle a ballpark in the summer with my shorts and t-shirt. Football stadium in the winter? no thanks.

It was the pillars that blocked your view, not some fancy firewall.

Why do they even put seats there?

There's an easy answer to that one : to make more money.

But if they aren't selling the seats, then they're losing money on them.

People are buying the seats but are probably standing somewhere else to watch the game.
