What I need is a 3.5mm Female to 3.5mm Female adapter. I have one of those male to male extention cords, but I need to be able to plug my headphones into that.

Confirmed. They have both a simple coupler as well as a corded version. They only have stereo adapters, which will work as well for mono applications, should be on the back right wall unless they've moved them. I think it was 274-15xx or something, I can't remember exactly, can't be more than $4.
