but really, who cares if she's a very influential teacher and keeps her private (read: escort) life separate from her professional life? imo, her decision to quit teaching is pathetic. she obviously wasn't very passionate about it. i hope those kids at least got a good education from her while they were students.
 
what i don't understand is -- if she was living the life she had always dreamed of by being an escort, why did she quit teaching and then go to work at a restaurant as a waitress? why didn't she continue being an escort? And why do rich men pay for escort services?????

You forget that they don't have time to waste when they are successful. They're not desperate, but rather they don't have time for banter back and forth..

travel tends to help. if you fly between two cities, like a boston and ny, then its simply easier than trying to figure out where to go, etc.
but listen, its probably the same reason a poor guy would use an escort.

that's true. the reasons i listed aren't the only reasons, and success/travel could also be lumped within the "no commitment [required]" category.
