They 'just don't get it'

"The Five" co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle suggested Tuesday that young women should excuse themselves from voting in the upcoming midterm elections because they don't share the same "life experience" as older women and should just go back to playing around on Tinder and Match.com.

"It's the same reason why young women on juries are not a good idea," Guilfoyle said. "They don't get it!"

Yes, good on you Kimmy. Empower the women of tomorrow with your intellect and nuggets of wisdom. Because in the end it just comes down to this:

Luckily, young women are smart enough to realize that voting is importing and firing back and realizing that this vapid statement from an even more vapid person means less than nothing.

Fox News was deluged in negative press on Wednesday after female host Kimberly Guilfoyle said that women "just don't get it" and should be excused from voting and jury duty. Apparently they're too busy being "healthy and hot" and should just "go back to Tinder."

AND jury duty?

Wow.

I talk to a lot of people...a lot of people are stupid. Perhaps you should stay home and not vote.

I know a lot of young women. None of them vote. The only people my age I know that vote are lawyers and gay guys.

Sadly, ignorant voting by the young, old, male, female, straight, gay, rich, poor, and everybody in between is an unsolvable problem. The best you can hope for is that the people who wind up on the every popular comedy show staple Quiz A Person on the Street self selects and chooses not to vote.

Fox news pundit says something stupid.

And then boomerang doubles down the stupidity.

Just another day in P&N.

The survival of a Democracy requires a well educated people. If we have failed that, as you would argue, then we have already fallen.

I would not restrict voting for young adults. Imagine just how stupid their parents were for not educating them. Least this way we can all be stupid together.

Maybe some of you dim bulbs can find somebody to read this to you but do so only if you're interested in something other than links with zero substance that the OP seems to prefer. The ease with which you're manipulated is telling. Please, don't vote. Please.

Remarkable that you, of all people, should talk about being easily manipulated.

Fox can hit Conservatives' erroneous zones w/o even trying.

Repubs have a hard right cadre that votes every time, every election, no matter what. That might be 25% of the electorate. So, of course, the fewer other people who vote, the better their chances of winning. If they won an election with 40% turnout by .5% of votes cast, they'd represent it as a mandate for their radical agenda, act accordingly.

They obviously don't want everybody to vote, for good reason, and they like to be able to make excuses when they lose by not addressing the concerns of the majority of people. They lost because people are stupid, obviously, at least in the realm of Fox News. Not because they're the Party of Fail (other than for the wealthy).

I rather suspect that if every eligible person voted that they'd be swept away the same way a roto-rooter gets shit flowing downhill in a clogged sewer pipe. The idea scares them half to death, because they know full well that they represent a minority of the population.

I remember seeing one of those random interviews where a woman was asked what she thought of Benghazi. She asked- is he running for office? There are some really dumb people out there. I can kind of see the point. If some people have such low information, I can't see how their vote can make any positive difference, and could, in fact, be detrimental to the republic.

If we had 100% voter turnout this country would be openly socialist within a decade. No republican senator or president would ever win again.

agreed

i'm pretty sure that all the female hosts on fox are hired for sex appeal not brains.

I wouldn't call Greta V all mouth and no brain.

But the whole indignant and exasperated dolled-up blonde campaign is pretty funny, always has been.

Anybody who thought that the Benghazi flap was more than conspiracy theory electioneering by the Romney Campaign has shit fer brains. It never meant dick to the average voter, just to the Hate-Um Obama Ravers.

They're dumb- the woman you reference was merely ignorant.

Goddamn, so much truth in this post. Democracy requires people that can actually think for themselves. Right now, seeks like most want the government to do the thinking.

Of course FOX would, as most women that have even half a brain vote anti GOP, unless they are on the payroll somewhere.

I see supposed high information posters on here all the time, with at least 2 completely different versions of every story
At least half the peeps here are detrimental to the republic
