Felt really bad witnessing three guys trying to jump a motorist

Not sure what I would've done if it got out of hand, but I stopped behind some morons who decided to pick three ppl up in the middle of the street. On the cross street a middle age asian man and his family was only trying to get by but these losers decided to take their time in getting in the car while holding traffic up. I would've honked but I figure it would do no good. Mind you, I'm right behind them.

The young guys must've said something to the asian guy cuz he got out of his car and tried to hit the one guy. They kept on driving only to stop 25 feet away and run back towards the asian guy. I'm like "oh sh!t" He got on punch in and the asian guy was helpless. Three young teens against this one guy who didnt seem like a fighter. His wife held him back only to have the guys get back in the car. I wonder what I would've did if they decided to beat him down.

Did you have any weapons? If not, you probably should have just called the cops - re: your last sentence.

if the guy was injured (he got a good hit in, but i guess it wasn't a powerful punch), I would've called the cops and followed them as I was on the phone. I've seen these morons before, hence why I didnt want to honk and cause a scene with them. Makes me want to get a gun now, only because sh!t like this gets carried away in my city. Just about two months ago, a man and his family was driving somewhere only get into a verbal argument with some other guy. The guy got mad and followed the man to planned parenthood and came at the man's family. Dude gets out and fires at the guy trying to come at his family with a pipe or something.

well...reading ur story it seems like the asian guy got out and tried to attack them first. that's not smart of him. they prob said some racist slur to him... oh well. poor guy.

yea knowing those morons they probably did say something smart. I know I've been in many road rages and sooner or later it may get out of hand. Need a gun or something. You never know. I wouldnt use it unless I had to.

getting a gun? sounds like a costly endeavor, money could be spent buying something nicer like a new gaming rig. getting mad is a waste of ATP.

well yes but a simple honking at someone nowadays can result in having someone come at me with a pipe or something. then what? if i could drive away i would, but lets say it was a small one way street, like today?

someone two cars back got out, but after realizing it was over he got back in. I was ready with the cellphone in hand.

Ya I've been in this situation before... a guy was stopping for a yellow light, he might have been able to go, well the moron behind him figured the guy was gonna go and gave it gas and then had to slam on the brakes when he realized the guy in front of him wasnt going to go through the light. The guy behind got out of his ricer POS, he was maybe 18, and started yelling at the guy. The guy got out, he was maybe 45ish, and explained he wasn't going to run a light and the kid just kept screaming and cussing, the guy said you need to calm the hell down, and he flipped the guys hat off. The kid then procedded to go nuts on the guy and starts POUNDING him, me seeing this I was about to snap, this kid was a fuvking as$hole. Anyways I got out and helped the guy out, the older guy cracked me up, after we got the kid down he yells, learn to respect your elders you fvcking punk and kicked him on the ground, he shook my hand and got in his car and we both left.

Some people have MAJOR attitude problems and severly need to be put in their place.

yea, and not useful for that situation unless they become truely dangerous. for simple intimidation beatdown where u can actually use some force, base ball bat does fine. gun only comes out when things have already gone to hell.

I'm pretty impatient on the road and have a very bad temper. Sometimes I'm driving around pissed enough that if the next person I come across did ANYTHING to provoke me, I'd throw it in park while blocking them to get out and confront them. My rage is aplenty.

Luckily I haven't had the opportunity, but I swear my temper will get me in trouble one day.

Oh, boy. One day I was coming from a highway exit to a stoplight. The light turns green, I'm about to go, and then some mexican dude in a beat-up trash carpet van runs the light and nearly hits my front. He then stops at the next light, a hundred feet away, because it's red. Now, my light turns green, and I come up in parallel to his car.

I was going to ask him, what the hell he was thinking, but as soon as I pull up to him, the guy starts screaming and cursing at me for whatever reason. I couldn't undrestand his gibberish, but at this point I was too pissed off anyway.

So he's like: get out of the car, and I'll teach you!
And I go: do you want me to get out of the car?
And he's like: yeah, I'll teach you POS.

So, without further ado, I flip my seatbelt, and get out of the car. The guy gets out, too, and we go at it. Hit him twice in the stomach and once in the face maybe. Dude tried a couple of punches back, but I had them blocked. Then the light turns green, we both get back in our cars and drive away, because everyone starts honking behind us (the scene was absolutely silent for these three minutes).

Now, my hands are twitching - have a nervous shakedown or smth (I guess, I'm a wuss). I park on the street, and as I do parallel, backing up, a Camaro with two ghetto dudes (this was all close to the East Palo Alto ghetto) pull and, and they are like: chill dude, you are cool.

Overall, very stupid on my part - the guy might have a gun, or I could be reproted to the cops. So, from now on I try to control my road rage as much as I can.

Yea, probably in the form of a heart attack.

I used to get mad when people did stupid stuff on the road.

Now that I've been driving over 1000+ miles a week for a while, I really don't care anymore.
Just don't hit my car, kthx.
