yeah it was all over the news here in L.A., they had like 300 officers on the scene. my condolences to his family and friends.

But how did they know he had a gun. I don't think that the "pat-down" is procedure for this type of call. If my girlfriend called the police and said her and I were having some problems and sh*t, I doubt they would pat me down.

It's sad what happened to the cop though.

Man, in Cali, police sometimes are killed for giving out traffic ticket, let alone resolving a heated situation. I don't like them when they're giving me tickets, but it's a suck ass job that they have to do. I totally understand how they have to be extra cautious in every situation.
