A lot of my friends have their 21st this month. Everybody is going to be home from college so about 20 of us are all going to be going out to a bar at the end of the month to celebrate the new birthdays plus everyone who has turned 21 over the past year that we haven't hung out with yet.
We were entertaining the idea of renting out a room at a bar or even doing an open bar thing during a weekday. For an open bar, we wouldn't want to pay more than $60/head. For a private room, we'd like it to stay below $6/domestic bottles. A place that has good drink specials would work out too.
Location: Central Long Island. Anywhere around the Nassau/Suffolk border would be wonderful, but we're open to more options if the place is right.
What I need is a list of bars that may be open to such an idea. We'd prefer not to do it at a club or in a place where it's so crowded you can't move. Almost all of us prefer a more comfortable atmosphere where we can shoot the breeze, possibly sing along to music, and just hang out and drink. Everyone attending would be 21 or older so them being lax about IDs isn't an issue.
And even if you don't know of a bar that would do this, any good bars in central Long Island would help.
