Here is the delima:


FACTS

- I've worked 30 hours in the last two days.
- I will get 10 more hours on Sunday.
- My boss gave me the options to not come in tomorrow.
- I just recently purchased an expensive condo. so extra cash would be nice.
- With said 30 hours worked, 6 of those hours in double time, and 4 is overtime.
- If I come in tomorrow, there will be 4 other techs here. Plenty enough to cover the network. So coverage is not an issue.
- I will have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off this week.
- I cannot use vacation time if I do not come in.



OPTIONS

1) Not come into work tomorrow, and play WoW all day until Kristin comes home! 😀 I've not had a chance to participate in the open beta yet. Been too busy working. So, I'm very much considering this.

2) If I do come in to work, I will litterally be sitting there doing nothing. Easy money yes, but bored out of my gorde. However, I will make some extra cash and this makes me and Kristin happy as well.

Thats what I'm leaning towards. I would feel like a slacker I bet........hrm.

I always feel like a buster if I don't go to work, even when the boss asks me to work overtime. I hate it, but I never say no. Of course, my mom did raise me like that, as she never let me miss a day of school. 12 years of school, missed only 1 day in first grade. It's carried over to my work habits now.

I agree with mryellow, if you know for a fact that you're going to get the retail release of WoW, then why bust it to powerlevel a toon that will only get deleted in about 2 weeks. Sure playing WoW is a blast, but it can wait until the 23rd.

Anyway, you'll be occupied all next week with HL2, so you'll probably only play a solid week of WoW before the release.
 
i voted for taking a day off, mostly because you said you wouldnt be doing anything at work.
but hey, extra money is good, and playing wow probably would not be worth it. there are a number of other things i would do with a day off, but if thats the only thing you would do, then just go to work.
