What a pitcher. Don't get me wrong, I am a Mariners fan (sigh, I know), but its a bummer that he's the best pitcher in the AL and stuck on the worst team.

He is a shoe-in for the Cy Young, but probably wont get it because the M's can get him any run support.

He deserves the Cy Young hands down. How is it the pitchers fault that the team can't score a single run? Especially in the AL? Look at the games he has lost, a lot of them were still quality starts.

Take a look, number on left is innings pitched, number on right is earned runs, for only his losses.

Great ERA, logs innings, lots of strikeouts. Yep the only thing that's damning is his wins total though that isn't completely his fault.

Exactly. Just because they can't get some runs for wins, he would be like 17-3 on a good team.

Exactly. Not to mention the guy can finish games. Wakamatsu let him pitch I believe 3 or 4 full games, but Brown wants to conserve his arm.

Remember that list is just losses, not including no decision. May 13 @BAL, 7.0 inning pitched 1 earned run. No decision. May 29 @LAA. 8.0 innings pitched 1 earned run. No decision. June 24 @CHC. 9.0 innings pitched 2 earned runs. No Decision. The list goes on. Jul 21 CHW. 8.0 innings pitched 0 earned runs. No Decision.

I really hope he can get a few wins and be a contender for the Cy Young before season's end, although doubtful.

I really love to watch the guy pitch. AMAZING pitcher, funny guy, animated about the game, great athlete (see that come-backer?!), just an all around good baseball player.
